I don't know about you, but I was kind of sad to say goodbye to 2017. Although the last year definitely had a few heavy moments in my personal life, there were SO many amazingly unexpected positives that came out of 2017 for me!
I never expected to be running a successful personal chef & catering business having executed over 50 events or being published in media over 30 times. It's a step in a slightly different direction from my original business plan of cooking demos & culinary nutrition workshops, however I am not complaining whatsoever as I love what I do!
In some regards I have no clue where this path will take me in 2018 & beyond, but I am extremely excited to continue on this entrepreneurial journey!
One piece of advice I can confidently say is stay positive in those heavy & unexpected moments because there are bigger & brighter ones on the other side of them.
And on a positive and forward looking note, I always love to start a new year with doing or creating something new. This morning I woke up, and randomly blended up a new smoothie concoction that I think will now be my 2018 favorite!
