Drink My Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
With fall weather in the air (sort of...80's in October??!!) and pumpkin everything all around us, I am excited to share my vegan pumpkin smoothie recipe with you! Don't get caught up in the fake, chemical laden "pumpkin" foods and drinks all around you. My version is a clean, healthy choice loaded with real pumpkin, real flavor and real nutrition.
Being so unusually warm here in the NorthEast, smoothies will still cool you down on these warm Fummer / Summ-all Days. The secret ingredient behind by my fall spice, aside from using real pumpkin puree is Simply Beyond's Organic Spray on Spices. Ingredients
Serves 1
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 frozen banana
1 serving Amazing Grass vanilla vegan protein powder
1 cup vanilla coconut or almond milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 light spray Simply Beyond Pumpkin Spice
OR dash of cinnamon, ginger & allspice
Dash sea salt
1 tsp chia
1/2 cup ice
Directions
Place all ingredients in a high power blender
Mix until smoothe
